Hi,

I read on web statistics software that you can add to a website to track everything thats going on in the site. I wanted to add a free script and/or web statistics tool but I notice that most of them out there add an icon to the web page, and some dont track the whole website just the index.htlm or entry page. Does anyone know where I can find the most indepth tracking script or software thats free, and prefereably without an icon on the homepage.

Do you have access to the logs?

You can use a free tracking service, but you'll have to add the tracking code to every page you wish to gather stats for.

I'm not sure what server scripts your host allows but you can find tons of web stat trackers on www.hotscripts.com.

You don't want a simple counter, those are terribly inaccurate. Weblogs are accurate, but difficult to decipher sometimes. Many tools are available to turn your weblogs into charts and graphs making them very usable.
