Looking for merchant account options

Hi

I am an international merchant selling electronic goods on-line. I was
previously using 2CO, but my account is now suspended due to "security
reasons" as they say. Please, advise whether there are any options
available for me.
Thank you!

Re: Looking for merchant account options

Hi
After multiple attempts to something adequate for me (I'm from Ukraine, selling custom software and web-design solutions), I have registered with www.securemarket.org. I was referred to this resource by my friend. The service is new and I really enjoy their responsice support and generally adequate attitude.

It really depends on your location. Since 2CO suspended you - hopefully you know the reason and that won't be repeated. 2CO has some scrtic rules because you are using their merchant account to sell your services / products and they have to protect their money.

You might also check with your local bank to see if they can help you out

Hi!
Your problem is familiar to me. I had unforgettable experience with 2CO and PayPall but now switched to www.securemarket.org - they are new
on the market and this is why they are more responsive than 2CO, whose priority is quantity, not quality. Most probably there are other option as well -simply this one is the most acceptable for me as it does not require complicated registration process/documents. I don't know how to get a normal merchant account if you live where I live.

All the deleted/disabled accounts in this thread are one and the same person, including the thread starter! How lame is that?

I will not censor the web site they're (so desperately) trying to plug. The reader can decide for herself if she wants to trust her money with such an outfit.

Thanks for the heads up. I caught his post on a couple of message boards that I moderate.

Oh, that's kind of funny.

Actually, I am considering 2co but I don't know. I am afraid that they are gonna suspend my account just like that. I e-mailed their risk department about one week ago but they have not responded yet.

Are you going to be selling high risk products or think you might have a lot of chargebacks?

Re: Looking for merchant account options

I'm not extremely concerned with chargebacks. I'm using Paypal right now and I just want to add another payment gateway. I have an online lingerie shop. I am not totally sure if they would accept my product so I e-mailed the risk department. I'm still waiting for their reply.
