DVD/CD-RW Drive big problem HELP!


hi everyone,

My matshi;ta cd-rw cw-8121 drive can not read cd that have data on it (audio cd, dvd, data cd...).
now when i insert a cd it keep reading making some weird sounds.
I've got windows XP home edition on a laptop.
i'm using nero and my drivers are up to date.
it happened about 2 weeks ago and haven't find any solutions so far.
please help me, i really don't know what to do.

Is the Laptop still under warranty? I would say that if your hardware is making funny noises it’s a safe bet that it bad or that at least something is wrong.
