Im wondering if you have any basics versions of the GIDZipTest™ that just checks if your page is being compressed. If so, are you able to post that code?

It would be interesting to see how something like that works..

No, I do not have a 'basic version' for this at the moment because the one I use here is already a 'basic version'

I plan to do some work on it in the future, once that is done I may paste some code... though I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you.

However, I have this idea for a 'site-uptime-checking-thingy' that will require the script running off different servers off different locations... if your server is located outside the US, I may be interested to work with you to offer a simple tool for this off the network of sites running the script... did that make sense?
