Retain information already filled out on formsI could not find any reference in a previous thread, so I am going to bring it up here. I have a form on my website, in which a visitor would fill out information on outside links to submit for inclussion in the website.
I have a couple of links in the form to explain about some of the data I am requesting, and when the user returns from viewing the info. Their input up to that point is gone. That is going to be frustrating to visitors of my site. How can I fix that. Is there a way to retain the previously entered information, so that when they back up to return to the form. It is still available to them?? Or should I just use popups?? (I have heard that popups irritate people, and they probably would not work if someone has a blocker.) Thanks, Richard |

Re: Retain information already filled out on formsYes, it's quite common to show these pages via a popup window. It's the least complicated anyway.
