hiya guys, my new site is going to be a milw0rm/securityfocus type of site
now i currently have links to downloads at milw0rm but thats purely for example while im sorting my database out
i'm after comments on the layout of the forum and vulnerbilities page if you could help me out would be good to get some feedback

Your site is coming soon. How soon? I would feel more confident in a site when some deadlines are given.

2. How about giving visitors a hint about what you’ll post on the site, even when it’s not finished? I mean, would you come back in a place where you don’t know what you’ll find?

It looks fine to me. I think the colors are good for your theme of Unix, and it seems to go good with the forum.

I noticed that a lot of the forum areas are empty. It's hard for me, and I am sure others as well, to have a discussion on a forum topic, with out a starting point.

Place your rules for the forums first, and they a lead in topic to get the discussion juices flowing.

I think the forum thing is a fair point, the colours and stuff are innoffencive, I would make your links at the top larger and a bit less grey they fade into the background colour a bit.
Other than that it's good, I would try to get content on it asap so that people will start to fill the forums up!
