SQL query form

Hi all,

I have an admin page for my booking system.

On this page i want a template like SQL query form.

Where the admin can select which table to edit,

Which column name they want to edit,

Then Select or type which row they want to edit and click submit.

This should then update the database accordingly to what they specified in the form.

Is this possible as i am stuck

Thanks,

Dan.

Re: SQL query form

Yes, and there is already a (free) tool that provides this functionality.

See: http://www.phpmyadmin.net

Re: SQL query form

Thanks but i dont think i explained myself enough.

I have been using myphpadmin to update/and delete records but i want a web based system so that i can hand that to the admin and i dont have to risk them deleting anything by mistake.

Im trying to create something so that when a surname for instance is selected from a listbox, all the other fields on the form such as forename, email, tel are automatically filled in and so can be edited and then updated bak to the database.

I think this may require another popup windows displaying the edit form unless the page refreshes after selection?

Thanks for help and any direction with this.

Dan
