Isn't that like a standard layout of wordpress? Maybe you should considering adding some colours to it as it seems a little dull to me. Also, try having a proper banner at the top for your header.

yeah i agree, looks very dull, and the google ads are in a bit of an awkward place cant tell whats part of your site and part of the ads..

I agree it looks kinda bland. And yes, it's from Wordpress, though the standard layout isn't this one. That one's named Kubrick. As for the ads, thats how experts recommend it to be, even Google. You should blend your ads according to the contents of your website.

it looks dull man... try adding up a few colorful things, a few pictures maybe.. you can also think of changing the layout/theme

Your blog certainly has interesting content. If I were you, I would add light color(s) to the left-side or/and right-side menu. Keep experimenting with these colors #DDDEFF and #EEEEEE, as they would blend nicely with your opening theme on your blog's front page. Remeber - object of blogs is to bring information that your readers cannot readily find, particularly your own opinion. If I were you, I would remove ads on top of articles and keep them either in the middle or at the bottom of articles. Remember, readers are not there to view ads, they are there to read your opinions.
