Laptop Problem !!Hi Guys !!!
I have a Compaq Presario 3000 Series Laptop, somedays back the laotop became very slow and everything used to hang and then all of a sudden it used to start working properly. What is happening is that it has stopped recognising the CD/DVD Drive itself , till the time the drive appears in the My-Computer it hangs and then it stops recognising it and laptop starts working properly. Can anybody tell what the problem is ? |

 You might try updating the drivers for the CD drive; they may have become corrupted somehow. You could also see what happens if you disable the CD drive in Windows so that it's not detected on boot; that will let you know if it's truly a problem related to the drive or if there's something else wrong w/ your computer. __________________
