May I have help with problems about Project settings

I have a visual studio c++ 6.0 project. It is a dialog based program. In the project settings for general I have the output paths set to C:\xxxx\Build and C:\xxxx\bin

In the Debug settings I have the executable as C:\xxxx\bin\MyProgram.exe

This works.

BUT

When I change the settings so that the executable is palced somewhere else, the project still builds it to the orriginal settings (excpet for the .bsc file). In debug, I get the "No executable to run" message when selecting the ! button.

Previous projects didnt give me a problem, but this one seems to have locked in the path somehow. I have checked that I am building a debug configuration.

Any ideas anyone ?
