Can I get Apache 2.0.36 to work on WinME?i have just been to the Apache site to check this out - but i can't find any details; all it says is - "The current stable release was Apache 2.0.36". Anyone with an idea what that means?

Typo? That is the most recent stable release according to the site www.apache.org. But don't try installing it. Here is a quote from the Docs: Quote:
They should really make this clearer from the start. Garth Farley |

I was not able to run Apache 2 on WinME and WinXP, but I was able to run Apache 1.3.x on ME with PHP, CGI/Perl, MySQL, and Python. However, I just use it as a test server because of the 9x Kernel not being secure enough.
/me is happy to get a new laptop with WinXP -Duane |
