I've tried multiple burning programs, just outa nowhere my burner stopped working

I'm not exactly a computer wiz (far far from it) but I saw this forum and decided to try here.

I have a memorex crw-1622

when I try to make cds I get this message



Its driving me insane I tried lots of things like different software and the likes, no luck...

also...I can't figure out why...(on a different note) but my c drive gets fuller and fuller but I'm not installing anything to it? Any ideas?

I'll look at your other problem later on, but for now have you tried clearing your internet cache, it can take up a surprising amount of space if you browse a lot.
