user level threads in CHi,
I want to use user level threads in C. These are threads that are managed in user space without any knowledge from the operating system. I do not find a suitable library that is still supported. Most implementation are educational or have now an emulation layer that maps on kernel threads behind the scenes. I tried cthreads but it does not compile on my systems (and it's not easy to solve, neither is it supported). Does anyone know of a stable, more or less directly usable Thanks in advance! |

Re: user level threads in CThanks, but the environment is linux 2.4./2.6... and pthreads gets mapped to kernel level threads. Or am I mistaken about that?
