cd-detected but not readi have a LG-Cd rom n sony dvd writer.Rom worked fine so far.but reccently it had stopped reading cds.the cd rom is detected in my computer.however wen i insert cds,the cds r not detected.but my cd rom worked fine im my frend's sytem.i changed my data cable,formatted my system.nothing worked out.

Re: cd-detected but not readCan you get any joy by going into My Computer and double clicking the CD drive's icon? The only thought which goes through my mind is that the auto play may somehow have got itself disabled.
