Wireless Card Not Finding Networks

I just bought a belkin wireless card, but its seems not to be able to find any networks. Its for a laptop w/ windows 2000 XP.
The card is working properly and the light blinks green but no connections!
Anybody run into a problem like this before?

When I go to configure the card it says 802.11b
but the card is "G"?

Re: Wireless Card Not Finding Networks

Does the wireless software so any signals within range? Are you letting Windows control the card or are you using the drivers that came with it? You can try disabling whichever is controlling the card and use the opposite.

Re: Wireless Card Not Finding Networks

I found out that my computer is not downloading the drivers from the disc!
It sets up the utility and software but for some reason it wont get the drivers!

Anybody have a similar problem?

I wish I had XP with the Zero config

Re: Wireless Card Not Finding Networks

You should be able to manually copy the drivers off the disc which should fix the problem. You can also try downloading them from the manufacturer's web site; it may be able to install them correctly.
