Amaroq is on a distinguished road

Greetings Everybody!

My name is Amaroq. Obviously. x3

Well, my name is actually Steven. But you know how it goes. People choose a screen name because they like to be called by their chosen name. But you can call me by either.

I found this place while trying to learn some new things about php in preperation for a project I'm gonna start soon. In fact, thanks to some useful information I found through this place, and a couple of other places, I believe I'm ready to begin.

Although I have knowledge and experiance working with HTML, XHTML, CSS, Javascript, and PHP, I do not consider myself an expert in any of these areas. In fact, I havn't written anything in them for quite some time so I'm actually rather rusty and I find I have to use references for lots of things that I shouldnt have to. Oh well. As I refresh myself, it'll come back to me. Except for Javascript. My Javascript knowledge is limited.

I also have apache 2.2.2 with php 5.1.4 installed on my computer. (I also have some virtual hosts set up on it. Since I don't have a domain name, I have my apache set up to serve a different virtual host depending on which port number is accessed.)

Well, enough about that stuff.

Some other interesting things about me... Hmm...

Well, my favorite way to spend my free time is on the MMOSG http://www.furcadia.com/. Quite literally all of my free time is spent on there. My name on it is Amaroq Wolf, if you ever wish to find me on it. I used to RP on it alot, but I don't really RP much anymore. I consider myself to be a pretty dang good RP fighter in both Feral combat and Furre magical combat. (On furcadia you are an anthromorphic character by default, but some 'dreams' use four legged versions of your furry character.) My furre version of Amaroq Wolf (I consider furre and feral seperate) is a magic user of a type of magic I completely made up. He is also learning swordfighting from a guy who kicked his *** in a situation where he wasn't able to use his magic. The swordfighting being a backup in case said magic isn't available to him.

Er, there I go talking too much again. I have a habbit of that. Well anyway, it's good to meet you guys. If you have any questions about anything in this post, feel free to ask me. I'll happily talk your head off-err, I mean go into it in more detail.

Regarding the post, Viz.: "Greetings Everybody!"

MESSAGE TO 'Either' FOR IMMEDIATE REELEASE:

Dear Either:

pardon my banana but I am noo, too...

It seems you write scribblingly well and with clarity except per 'Javascript' (2nd time) when I think you meant 'Java'. But that's not a pejorative comment -- merely panoptically, neurotically comprehensive.

I am in love with a smilie named Sheila eLectorolla 15Zttysj5 and it happens that I have to go be obsequious to her now. 'At' her? Oh! heheh, why daaahling, it's you! .... I was on my way... honestly -- positively... yoor lyuke mrrrbbvlss!

Signed,
Or

Re: Greetings Everybody!

*chuckles*
I actually did mean Javascript. Javascript and Java are two very different things. And unfortunatly, I don't know any Java at all.

It's nice to meetcha dbrindle. I'm not feeling very crazy right now, but it seems that you are. I like crazy people. They make things fun and interesting.
