PHP writing PHPI have heard that it is possible for a PHP script to rewrite itself. I assume this is done with one of the file writing functions that is set to write a file of the same name.php as the script running it. I assume then, that it is possible for a PHP script to write (or overwrite) another PHP file. I'd like to know where I can read more about this so I can find out how this is done exactly, and what kinds of things you can and can't do with it. I'm too lazy to google it right now, and I think that someone finding it and posting it up here will benefit your guys' site alot.

Re: PHP writing PHPYea, I want to know more about this subject as well. I have only heard rumors about self correcting mods and items. If I am correct they look for errors in the codeings by itself.
