automatic password protected web folder reset

I know how to password protect a web folder.

My question: Is there anyway to automatically have that password change periodically?

For example, is there a script or program that could use an algorithm to say, include the date amidst the actual password and automatically change it once a week?

Where would one go to find such an animal?
