I'm looking for a way to DUMB DOWN user configurations and make it as seemless as possible for some less than capable laptop users at and away from the office.
Here are the stats at the office right now...
1- Docking Station at office
2- Wireless at office
3- DNS and WINS are manually configured when at the office.

Here are the stats away from the office
1- Wireless NIC will need to change from the manual configured DNS AND WINS to Auto.
2- LAN card will also have to change to Auto

Anyone have any ideas for me? When DNS/WINS settings are made to the NIC's (Wireless and LAN)the changes are passed through to ALL software profiles. So there is no way to login with a seperate user profile and have different DNS/WINS settings.

Hardware profiles will allow you to customize the hardware that's available to you when you login with different hardware profiles but that doesnt help here unless I went out and got additional NICS for the PCMCIA slot and that really isn't a option.

Have I totally confused anyone yet? If this didn't come across as very clear I'm sorry. Kind of a hasty message. HELP!!! stumped here!
