Question

How to build Universal Binary from makefile

Is there any way to make a Universal Binary (Mac) version of the static libraries using make (or ./configure and make) on a PPC machine?

I have no way to verify this (since I don't have a Mac) but you could try this.

Further on, he explains that if you don't seem to have the --with-archflags option run autoconf.
