Im using NTI CD-Maker 6.0 and when I try to burn CDs with my memorex CD burner that plugs in to the usb port.

When I burn the CD it will start then an error pops up and it says

CDMKR32 has caused an error in Audio32.DLL

Have any clue? it says it everytime I try to burn a cd...it pisses me off cause I cant get a cd and Im wasting Blank CDs

Help would be very very appreciated.

I have the same problem happening when I use a DVD Burner with NTI burning software. You should use the Test feature when burning, which will save you lost cd's. Until I find a solution for this problem that is all I have to offer.

Have you tried rebooting the computer right before you use the burner? If this doesn't work you could try uninstalling the driver for the device and the software and then reinstalling it. I'm search the internet for more answers could you please tell me which memorex burner and Windows you have.

the NTI software; specifically:
NTI CD/DVD Maker 6 (Gold) Version 6.0.0.9502
Audio32.dll Version 2.0.0.334
CDMkr32.exe 6.0.0.95
And also my driver files for my CD device:
Sony CD-RW CRX225E

I'm hoping we both get to the bottom of this soon.
If not, we can have a laugh by comparing our "coaster" collection
(i.e. useless CD blanks)...

For what it's worth, here's what NTI had to say when I reported the following problem:

The error you are experiencing would indicate that one or more of your files contain errors within the file structure. Try using a different set of files.

Make sure that the MP3s are in the correct format. The standard format for Mp3s should be = Single channel, 44.1 kHz: bit rate 16 bit stereo. If they are not in the correct format you can use a third party software such as Cool Edit (www.cooledit.com or Winamp (www.winamp.com). You can obtain trial versions from their websites.

I rec'd this software with CD-Rom that came with purchase of Asus P4800 motherboard 3gh Intel PC in August 2003...

To date, all errors seem to involve the CDMKR32 code module. The NTI application itself is installed on our "best" CPU - i.e. the Intel Pentium 4 we designate as SYS07 in our network. The majority of our mp3 collection however, reside aboard the system we designate as SYS01, which is a 300mhz Celeron machine. I allow plenty
of cache space on the fast box (Sys07), and I allow a slow (12X) burn rate on the CD. Sometimes I get lucky and get a successful burn of a data or audio CD, and other times I get errors. Here are the (3) typical error messages:

OKAY - Check this out. I came across the same ERROR last night and found this only posting on it. NTI does not have a ERROR page with fixes on them like Iwas lead to believe when this first came up.

However - I did not convert the MP# files over by using WINAMP or COOLEDIT - instead - I just made a Data File with the MP3's on them. Now of course it won't work in your vehicle - I don't think they will haven't tried it. But _ that was not my goal. I wanted a back-up of these songs just in case something happened to my hard drive in my laptop. THe MP3's work just find on my Desktop PC. I used Real Player as the default. So - the only way to save these MP3's is to do just what the NTI Tech stated - convert them over to WinAmp and make sure they are 44.1 KHz and have a 16 bit rate. If I come up with a fix I'll post here ASAP.

hi.. ive been trying to burn my mp3 songs to cds.. tried it for da firz time.. it works.. but after dat dere seems to be an error.. Prompt dat a certain file not in format den few mins later da nti cd maker not responding.. How could dat be? my files are all in mp3 format... y der iz still an error?? i usually play my songs using winamp player.. so cant possibly be dat da files are not in mp3 format rite.. help me pls.. ive wasted so many blank cds.. help needed!!!! Okay _ The problem for some reason is that MP3's can't be loaded into a "music CD burn". So - what I did was to make a Data CD - it works - one can play these songs on any CD player, be it computer- CD player - car CD player - it works. I know of the error you are recieving and the only thing you can do is make a Data CD. Don't use the option of making a MUSIC CD - it won't work. Even though your song are MP3 format - theres a certain Mhz each one of them has to be - if one is not the correct Mhz - then the entire CD is wasted. So - use the DATA option of NTI.
