How's it going here...I've been here for some time, gone for some time and I'm back again....
but I don't see any updates on the index. Just in case you care... I've pasted my finals and started with a new study 3 weeks ago... while having vacation I made myself usefull on php.net translating the PEAR Documentation into Dutch, Maintaining the Manual User Notes and also a bit of the manual itself. I'm still very active in maintaining the User Notes.. got my first complaint today.... I rejected a question note, which should be rejected... Be warned |

Good to see you back here Allowee, I thought you got bored and fled but good to hear that you were actually busier doing something useful.
There is no particular reason why the homepage has not been updated for a while. I have been working on my latest script since June and it is being written very carefully... and slowly. Unlike previous scripts I wrote, this is a labour of love! Instead of doing many things at the same time, I decided to concentrate 100% of my free time to develop this latest site and until that is done, I will not update or work on anything else. Also, unlike my previous script, this time, I am concentrating on completing the Admin / Members' area first. re: PEAR; I was actually testing some of their stuff just a month back but I decided to re-invent the wheel and wrote every class myself from the ground up; i.e. db, template, cookie, encryption, mail, etc. __________________

I forgot to tell that I actually came back coz I needed to look at an article...
btw, I can understand your PEAR situation... PEAR is Very big, you don't need this and that.. those things will slow down your scripts.. writing everything yourself is the best |
