I use it all the time. Knives for cooking, TV for watching, cars for driving. Be specific.

Please don't use the title as your question. Full question in the post, please...

Less obnoxious answer: No I don't. Don't even know what it is.

Re: WebFOCUS

Hi All,

Its me Sengott.
I am new to this webfocus forum.
I have one query.
I am using WebFocus 7.1.4
I am facing a problem whe I try to use prompt.
for eg my report contains building, floor, cube and so on..
if i run the report its working fine.
then i tried giving filter, whereif--->assist--->comparetype 'value'.
then also report is working fine.
when i try to give a prompt using parameter for building its gives the following error .
0 ERROR AT OR NEAR LINE 7 IN PROCEDURE ADHOCRQ FOCEXEC *
(FOC295) A VALUE IS MISSING FOR: &BLDGCODE
I tried to give the values for field - accept list as static, dynamic and accepts
list from file..
kindly help me with the solution.
also i need steps for cascading prompts if possible.

Re: WebFOCUS

Thanks Kacyndra,

I resolved that issue but i need to use cascading prompt in my report .

i.e Let us assume the first prompt asks you the Country,
Once you have selected your Country then you will have to select your State, now here is the important point,

Now if i select USA as my country then only the States in USA should be displayed like CA,IL,NY,MN etc so if i clicked my country as India then only States in India should be displayed

Now the 3rd step, once i have selected the State the Third Prompt should display the respective city in that particular state.

This type of prompt will mostly come in Web pages, like filling your personal information, hope you can remember

Kindly help me in resolving this

Thanks in advance
Have a happy long weekend .

I have my htm file with ITEM1 and ITEM2 logic inside.

Re: WebFOCUS

i dont think you can print them on seporate pages.
you could always make them into pdfs. then you can force a page break between the two reports.

that way, if you print it, it will be on two pages.... html is a little funky with that
