What about some of the guys that we have to thank for get computers started in the first place like John Kemeny and Thomas Kurtz who develop the BASIC programming language which Bill Gates used to write software routines for BASIC on the Altair to use diskettes for storage. I would also like to know was it Tim Berners-Lee that wrote the first User Friendly web browser? I'm not sure if it was or wasn't but if he did then I defiantly think his a hero. And last of all I would like to add Steve Wozniak we can't forget to add him. Let me know if this is ok.

Except for Steve Wozniak, I don't know much about the others in your post - but if what you say is true; then go ahead post their birthdays if you have the information.

Did I ever mention that I hate History?

I never know that you hated history. You learn something new everyday, I always hated Math.

The only reason I haven't included some others like Linus Torvalds and Steve Wozniak plus a few others, is cause I really don't have the information...
