Problems booting WinXPWhenever I go to boot WinXP on my home computer, it gives me a screen saying that 'Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: system32\Drivers\ntfs.sys' Now I read another thread here detailing the same problem, but my problem is a little different. Whenever I boot from cd, I get the same error that ntfs.sys is still corrupted, so I cannot format and reinstall Windows. How do I fix this problem? Thanks in advance for any help,

Re: Problems booting WinXPI would try rebooting in safemode, see if that works.
Since when do you have this problem? did you find anything on google? maybe there's a way to fix the file in safemode if there's a fix for it. |
