Hello all! Just want to know what you think about ViaCleaner 7.0? Is it worth purchasing for 69.95 or is it too expensive? Please, your opinion...

Hmm 69.95 to do things that a collection of freeware programs can do.

ViaCleaner 7.0 software protects your privacy by removing Internet records from your computer. ViaCleaner removes the files on a user's computer that track activities and log information, such as Internet Cache Files, Temporary Internet Files, Cookies and Temporary Typed URL History in Browsers. ViaCleaner cleans up Recycle Bin and also deletes such files as Recently Visited Documents, Recently Visited Lists in a variety of Applications and many secret logging files.

Here's some essential downloads:
Ad-aware
Spybot search and destroy
regseeker

Choose one from these:
Internet cleanup tools
and also have a look around here:
Freeware security-privacy downloads

You really shouldn't have to pay a penny for menial tasks like these.

Depends how well you want your files deleted...

The FBI now can read 7 layers deep in a hard drive. Meaning, you will have to lowlevel format your hard drive 8 times before you can prevent the information you have from being displayed.

Rob sums it up(like usual) very good. I believe that is expensive. Accoring to the small description that was posted, you can do that yourself in a couple of minutes.

Why would you consider a product like this? What exactly are your trying to get rid of?
