Dj Remote request softwareHi
does anyone know of any remote request software. I've searched on google 4 ages and i could only find 1 by a company called softjock. I would use that but i dont have any .mp3 files on my computer. Basically i need a remote request software that run's on a .trx, .exl file etc Because i don't run my gig's of a computer, I still use cd's. It need's to run on a host computer and a client over a local network. Thanks for any help! Chris ![]() |

Re: Dj Remote request softwareSorry I forgot to decribe it.
I mean i programme that runs on two computer's (a host and a client). and it will let someone request songs on the client compter which then sends the requests over a local network to the host computer. |

Re: Dj Remote request softwareDoes it need a database listing of all your CDs or does the client just type in a song title?

Re: Dj Remote request softwareNot sure if this is what you're looking for (don't know how it works w/ CDs): http://www.adecmusic.com/Power/digit...sic_system.htm.
Since you're just looking for a database w/ a client, why not just look at a simple DB system, not one expressly for DJs? Or is it supposed to play the song the person requests automatically? __________________

Re: Dj Remote request softwareHave you asked a local music or DJ-oriented store? From my quick search, I really didn't see too much besides softjock, though it could be because I didn't have good search terms.
