What do you think of paid posting to attract visitors?

Hi,
what do you guys think about paid posting?

Being the owner of http://www.forumboosting.com, one of the first paid posting services, I must say that this was first an experiment (since there was noone in the market doing this), and it gladly took off, helping hundreds of webmasters to build their forums easily.

It may seem that with paid posting you will create a fake community, that will disappear once the service will finish - that's not exactly true. The main mistake of many webmasters is to think that by purchasing 75 paid posts you will create a community. That's not the case! Experience showed that in order to have results you must plan a posting campaign of at least 3 months, purchasing 1400-2000 posts to be spread slowly on a daily basis. Once you have this, people will naturally flow in and interact with paid posters, that being still hired will reply to the threads, creating a community feeling. And well, once 3 months passed its supposed that a little community has been created, so paid posters will slowly go off, leaving space to "real" posters. This can also be done with 10-15 friends willing to post on your board for months, but how many can dispose of such help? Hope this explains my point of view on paid posting

I wish you good luck
If you the first paid posting services and you till now well work with the clients that and henceforth I hope that you will work continuously.
I too prefer a paid hosting, and I hope that all with me consent that paid service can give us a more guarantee than free hosting.

It might work the way you describe - then again, most forums I know of are mostly private or don't seem to be set up to generate money. Am I wrong or do people still pay you for reasons other than those?

I simply think that a paid hosting more reliable, we pay money for that what to work continuously and we receive it. And the free hosting cannot provide us all in what we require.
