Microsoft Virtual Earth V's Google Earth

www.arcon5.com or en.wikipedia.org ?[/b]
Im UK based!
I see Google Earth is a download and MSN is online, do google earth have an online version?

Based on my location, which would you suggest, which brings best results and most accurate search results?

The last time I even heard of these they were still in developement stages so never really tried them. Now I think it will beneficial.

Thanks

Re: Microsoft Virtual Earth V's Google Earth

As to which would be the best I have google earth download but find that I use it less and less as Microsoft has theres online. One thing I could think of and I'm not totally sure as I don't have a dial up connection but MS Virtual Earth may not be the best thing on dial up, however since Virtual Earth is online I find it a little more useful since most of the time when I really think about messing with it is at work when I'm board.

But over all I and I'm no expert but really the only different I can think of and it been awhile since I messed with google earth, is that with MS the default view is of roads more like a standard map and this in my option helps.

Other than the fact that I can play with virtual earth online and from any computer vs google earth on my desktop, this makes virtual earth a little better for me.

I hope this helps.

Re: Microsoft Virtual Earth V's Google Earth

Google offers a 3d builder now so you can build environments, buildings, etc. and place them in Google Earth. Beyond that I haven't used the MS version so I can't say which is better, though I Google's version has been out longer so there's more user-provided information available for it.
