Computer easter eggsThese developers get easily bored when working on their programs and they try and sneak funny stuff into their work.
Excel 97 used to have a flight simulator and word 97 had pinball Linux 2.2.1 used to tell you that you printer was on fire The coolest one I've seen lately is in the mozilla suite and can be found typing about:kitchensink into the url bar. This won't work in IE because it can't handle the XML, but if you can check out http://www.mozilla.org/docs/web-deve...itchensink.xml to see it as its rather cool. about:mozilla is a cool Bible like quote about the next stage of the foundation. If you've got some spare moments go to http://www.eeggs.com/tree/153.html and see the things you didn't know about your software. Rob |
