I have a Not for Profit child safety organization that I provide Free Hosting, Web Maintenence for, they are in need of a really simply content management soltuion. I must admit I am not a CMS king as I do not use them.

They however have a site that grows daily and could strongly benefit from a proper CMS solution that is EXTREMELY USER FRIENDLY.

They currently use Microsoft Frontpage to build and edit there site. They are not experienced in .html coding or have any knowledge about databases. They are currently creating a manual RSS feed of which is not validating correctly so it is not be picked up on several sites. The site they currently have was constructed from a html template that was purchased from a Template site it is contolled through CSS sheets.

They typically update there pages daily for AMBER Alerts and Missing Children when they are issued for children across the U.S.A.

Here is what they need.

A CMS solution that will peform the following;

1. RSS Feed - Automatically create a RSS/XML feed of there content when published.
2. Forum - Integrate a Forum into there site.
3. Blog: Integrate a Wordpress Blog into there site
4. Directory - They have a listing of sponsors that are listed with hyperlinks etc, I suggested they install some type of a directory for banners etc. Like a business directory??
5. Site Redesign - They just had new logos redesigned so they want to integrate the color schemes, fonts etc into the new site somehow.
6. Templated System - Some type of templated pages will have to be created for when an Amber Alert is issued where they will only have to insert photos,texts and links etc.

They currently do not have the funding to pay a site designer to do this. They receive funding (1) time yearly from a National Sponsor. These guys are not the United Way so they do not have a very big budget so price will be an issue.

What they do have is something that can and will benefit the party who can help them out. They can offer the following;

• Payment - They can pay a predesignated amount on on/or before October 1st,2006
• Promotion - They provide a News Ticker that is literally carried on about 50,000 websites currently. it is basic Java 1.2 with linkbacks with messages etc. They would put you on the ticker! I recently added a sponsor of there's to the ticker and they have been getting a phenomenal response. (PR.com)
• RSS Feed - They have an enormously popular RSS feed that is carried on some very big sites, they would be willing to add your link and information to the feed. They currently do this for another very big site (Syndic
• Banners Etc. - Of course they would add the proper linkbacks etc. to you.

Traffic - They currently receive about 30,000 - 50,000 uniques a month with enormous page views and also carry an Alexa Ranking of 700,000 this is going to change soon as there traffic has been averaging 2500 - 4000 uniques a day for the last 2 weeks. The current Google PR is 4 to 5 depending on the pages. This is also going to jump soon.
