They probably bill the advertiser for 70 cents with their huge marketplace. Targetpoint gives me an...

There are some common "best practices" when it comes to ad placements on a webpage. Many of these are just common sense, but I have finally come across some research on how to best place advertisements. The findings are interesting (long read though) and I will probably try to tweak some of my...

I like how you set up adsense in the signatures. How did you do this? It seems like a good idea to get more revenue going. First time I have seen that, nice move. How successful are the results?

Google made another major change to its Adsense program on Sept 1, 2004. In the past they have required publishers to only have one ad unit per page (even though the TOS has been ambiguous). It now seems that they have mastered the technology to ensure that they do not double serve the same ads...

I was a little surprised to see an email from Google this evening, stating that they are now releasing targetted image ads to the Adsense program. I haven't tried it out yet, nor have I seen any sites running these image ads, but to me this could be a pretty big thing in the online ad business.
