Yahoo/Overture has offered very high traffic sites with a contextual ad solution for quite a while. It now appears that they may be on the verge of releasing something for the masses.

I can't even remember when I actually applied for Adsonar (it was probably 6-8 months ago) and today out of the blue, I get an approval email from them. I have read similar accounts on a few other message boards - anyone here have the same experience? I am not even sure if Adsonar is even worth it...
