Ok yes, another suggestion
Viewing the forum index page, under the heading Last Post, you should create another space between the username and the post date.
Also, I noticed that the order was somewhat lost between Last Post and Threads.
I would suggest you have the Forum length in width...

I think it would be a good idea if non-registered users could not view personal information such as e-mail address, MSN, Yahoo, and ICQ.
Just today I had a friendly guy message me on MSN asking about Apache- and that is fine by me.
But it turns out he was not registered, and he said he could...

We have in the past deleted threads where a member started a new thread, just to fill it in with a list of links to resources elsewhere for a given topic or subject.
Here's one example of a thread like this. If you had seen the one that actually prompted this poll, I am sure you would be...

It seems to me that the Computer Hardware Forum is getting a lot of new users. And not only to post questions. There are a lot of people who just sign up to answer quentions too!
This turned out to be a very good forum to have
Anyone remember how long ago the Hardware Forum was created?

Could we have a generic "code" tag that keeps formatting and still allows the BBS tags. This way when helping a poster with his code we can highlight and colorize errors and potential corrections.

For the forum code here to display a link, why have the '<a hr' + 'ef="' part if you are still going to include the...

Interesting setup with the search on here. I remember hearing that the search engine uses google's search engine to display the results in the default search engine.
One complaint though.
When a user clicks on 'Search' it opens up a new window that lets you enter a keyword/phrase and click 'Go'....

I joined GID forums less than a month ago and since then there have been about 115 new members join. Alot of these are single posters, but this tells me that this site is getting quite a bit of traffic and is of enough interest to most to register.
Coincidentally, or rather not, I have about as...

The code:
shows as bold and altogether ruins the nice flow of code. Maybe change the color and not have it bold?
Also, how does one use the BBCodes if they do not know the code for them? The option to use them is not given when posting.

I would like to create a list of FAQ about the Member Usergroups, Promotions and Permissions set up we use on GIDForums™.
I have even inserted one question already, just so that you get an idea of how I plan to go about accomplishing this.
What I would really appreciate is for some of you to...

I am able to access my UserCP, however, when I goto the Private Messages it says:
BobbyDouglas, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone...

I have notived in vary many instances that inside the Websites Reviewed forum that people just sign up one post to get a review, but do not even take the time to post their review in a good fashion. Usually it is just titled Look, and then says, review my site: something.com.
I think what would...

Since Google indexes just about every thread found on this site, it makes more sense for anyone searching the board to actually do a "site search" via Google.
To make that easier for our members and readers, the quick Search box found at the top of every forum page will now present results...

- For awhile now, this web site has been extremely slow for me. Above is a traceroute that I ran from my school computer.
According to bandwidthspeedtest, our internet here is very fast:
