When I was looking through this thread, clicking on the "goto page" link and typing in page 2, I got a 404 Not Found error. I noticed the few other pages I looked at so it might be something to look at.
When I clicked on the page numbers directly or used the "next page" arrows it worked fine, so...

Hey,
I am having an interesting problem. I have only been to the C++ and Visual Studio Forums.
My problem is that sometimes when I come to a forum entry where the poster has put code in the tags, the code block is not rendering a line. It shows the box and the scroll bar, but I cannot see the...

As much as I've enjoyed serving as the GIDForums™ Super Moderator, it is time to step down. I just don't have the time to give that is required anymore. I would like to thank J for his understanding in this, since we couldn't figure out a way to modify the DAY_HOURS 24 constant.
I hope that I was...

Ok, I understand what it takes to reach each user level. But what exactly do you get from each level? (Yes, I looked but didn't find it).

Hello:
HTML links refused to display properly so I tried 'disable parsing'. That did not work at all so I decided to disable smiles too. The instant that disable smiles was clicked: crash.
FYI: Firefox 1.5.0.4, in linux(2.6.16-x);
I have not had a crash from anything or anywhere in at least a...

I'd like to suggest adding some additional .NET programming forums. (C#, VB.NET and/or ASP.NET). The current .NET forum could be more about general .NET topics (ie what is the CLR, what's new in 2.0 etc).
When posting/replying to questions it saves a little time if the context has already been set...

Here's an error I received when trying to move backward in a forum topic, i.e. I was in page 2 and clicked the page 1 button and got the error. I also got the error when I clicked on the "<" icon. I was in the Python forum, in case it's only topic specific.

FYI:
At 11:25 CST we got the following message a few times
There were "Currently Active Users: 162 (5 members and 157 guests)"
This is the first time I remember ever seeing this error. Not sure what can be done, but I thought I'd mention it since new servers are being used.

It seems as if this forum would be more productive and organized if it were split into 2 subforums, one for C language programming and the other for C++. C and C++ are so different that it would be much easier of people could ask straight C questions in a special area and those C++-centric issues...

Hi admins,
Now the Java version of Python named Jython has been in 2.1 version.
http://www.jython.org
I think it's better to create sub forum named "Jython" under Python forum.
Please take it into accounts.
Thank you so much for your consideration.

Hi J,
I was wondering if you could add one small thing to the box I'm typing in at this moment. Could a keystroke be added (similar to Ctrl-B) that can add the kbd]kbd] pair? Like maybe Ctrl-K?
This would be really kool!
Gracias Monsieur for your consideração

Greetings and Salutations fellow GIDians (I always wanted to start a post like that!)
This past year has brought around a few changes in my life (most all positive) and I have been extremely lax in my duties here as a super-moderator. I should have taken action about this sooner, but I always...

I nearly forgot to mention this...
Over the next few days, I will be busy testing the upgrade to GIDForums™ at this closed location: www.gidforums.net.
This is just for your information.
