I downloaded and insalled NS-allinone-2.33 package. But I cannot access nam.
I googled for the solution and found that X11 development libraries are needed for nam installation on Fedora Core 9.
But I cannot find these libraries anywhere.
the yum install doesn't help either.
Here is what I do and...

Hi guys,
While installing ns 2.33 on ubuntu 8.04,everything gets installed successfully except nam 1.13 and I get the message - Please compile your nam separately.
Please give a solution for this problem. It's urgent !!!
Any help will be appreciated .

I am a newbie to SUSE, I have installed through the LIVE CD. I am able to see the packages of OSS AND NON OSS installed through yast S/W manager.
Still when I run the program using the command
austin@suse..>gcc 1.c
It is showing comman doesnt exist.

Hi, file names get long and it's nice to reduce the left side of ls -l printout. 'man ls' shows me I can:
ls -go -no group, no owner.
ls -got -no group, no owner, sort by time (ascending)
ls -gotr -no group, no owner, sort by time descending (r= reverse sort)
eg:
$ ls -gotr
total 488
-rwxr-xr-x...

Hello,
The last two partitions on my hard drive are:
hda7 1000 mb e2fs
hda8 1000 mb vfat using as linux/msdos swap
I have used linux fdisk to change the sizes to:
hda7 1500 mb e2fs mounted as ext3
hda8 500 mb vfat using as linux/msdos swap
