I have a Perl Script I'd like to use but it doesn't seem to work.
The error is method not allowed.
It's a simple guestbook script and it uses the POST method. I'm not sure how to set file permissions in Novell since I'm not extremely good with it. So it could be a problem with that, I'm not sure...

Hello,
I installed apache 2.0 on my computer with php on my desktop on windows 2000.
Everything is working , I have checked this on my laptop (that shares the same internet connection) with the ip address.
When i came to work and entered this address its doesnt show up.

ok ok so i got a new question!
how do you change the info of a default directory with no html page within it.... like how apache will automatically list the directory, files and there info.... is there a way that i can edit that file or the way it looks by adding my own content?

if i connect to my server via ip i get the index and the following sites. also i can see the content of one folder but there are different more where i get the error: server is not...

is it possible to share for example a mp3's folder on a different HD? apache is installed on c:\ and my other HD e:\ has my mp3's....and i was wanting to like the two so that i can share my folder for access.... but making shortcuts and other things i've tried don't work... proly because i'm a nub...

is the the possibility to protect my folders with htaccess in that way that no one can browse this folders but when i call the index all files that are requested are shown without the login prompt?

Basic problem is i need to run a webserver and email server with built in webmail on one comp, and both the webserver and webmail(webmail is run by the mail server so need own port) need to be accessable via port 80(rest are blocked from where i need access to my email).

First let me describe the architechiture. We are running Apache 1.3.27 with PHP 4.3.1 that connects to a SQL Server Database on WinNT Server 4.0.
Here's the problem: when a web request is sent to Apache....just a single request, the memory usage on the Apache.exe process jumps to like 500MB...
